Thursday, August 28, 2003 ::: Happy birthday to my dad!!! ^^ CU inauguration ceremony this morning... 'smart casual', oh well... but the ceremony was ok, at least I smuggled into Sir Run Run Shaw hall (my ticket was originally for a seat at the YC Liang Bld, in which I had to watch 'live broadcast' of the ceremony... -_-" duhhhhh how dumb's that, live broadcast of the inauguration ceremony!?!) tea reception at the University guest house, nuthin special, social time (?) but it's cool to have approach-able profesors and some really cool new friends too shopped for a present finally settled with... truffles! (yuckooo) again... but dad loves it, so it should make a great gift long time no movie... movie tonight, i promise myself the chicago DVD is out, but duh! HK version, cheap cheap dei... Currently playing: David Usher - Black Black Heart a long forgotten tune New discovery: Michael Buble (NOT Bubble) Pronounced as 'Boob - blay' new artist discovered by David Foster (yay!), and his debut self titled CD is out now Opening track: FEVER - quite nice, but i prefer the Peggy Lee/Celine Dion version... but it's still nice to have some young talented artists around... savior of the music industry...
